Lenovo goes green with solar-powered PC

While you probably won’t want to use it as your gaming PC, the soon-to-be-released ThinkCentre A61e sure leaves one tiny eco-footprint. With its 85% efficient power supply and optional solar panel, this green machine uses only as much power as three light bulbs.  Not only that, but it’s made of over 90% reusable or recycled materials.  Lenovo estimates that the reduction in power consuption would save the average user over $20/year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by the equivalent of two round-trip flights from Boston to New York.  Expect this bad boy good boy to drop sometime next month starting at $399.
