Ok, so you went out and bought a brand new Windows Mobile device. You even got one that had a high speed connection like EVDO, or UMTS just to make sure your SlingBox streams would be on point, right? Then you took the plunge and officially, or unofficially upgraded to Windows Mobile 6. You fired up SlingBox’s SlingPlayer Mobile to find out that you “can’t connect” to your SlingBox at home. Well, you can look forward to not having this problem anymore as of now. SlingMedia has heard your cries fellow TV fiends. They have now begun offering beta versions of Windows Mobile Professional and Standard compatible software. “Final versions of the software will be formally announced and made available in mid-June, but we also have beta software available for download through our support site in the interim”. You heard it here, hit the link to get your Sling fix!
