BlackBerry Monaco, Monza could be branded ‘Volt’

We knew right when we exclusively revealed the BlackBerry Monaco and Monza back in January that the devices would likely shed the “Storm” moniker, and now it’s looking even more likely. Chevy Volt gets priced, $41,000

Not a typical gadget-centric post but an interesting topic nonetheless. Today, Chevrolet announced pricing for the 2011 Chevy Volt, GM’s latest all-electric automobile offering, and in our opinion it is pretty steep. The 2011 Volt will have a base MSRP of $41,000, that’s the base. The car does come with a $7,500 tax credit, but consumers hoping to finance one of these bad boys will have to work with the $41,000 number and wait for the federal tax break. The Volt can also be leased for $350/month for 36 months with $2,500 down. There is obviously an extra cost that is incurred with any first generation product, what do you think about this one? Will the Volt sell? More →
