Samsung Galaxy S 4G hits T-Mobile shelves on February 23rd; $149.99 [updated]
T-Mobile on Monday confirmed preliminary pricing and availability details for its Samsung Vibrant successor. Announced earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy S 4G will become available across the country on February 23rd, T-Mobile stated in a post on Twitter. The carrier also said that the handset will initially be offered for $149.99 on contract, though it noted that this pricing would only be available for a limited time. The Galaxy s 4G is nearly identical to the Samsung Vibrant it replaces, barring the addition of HSPA+ “4G” network compatibility and a new front-facing camera for video chat. Other notable features include a 4-inch Super-AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera and the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.
