AT&T now giving customers only two weeks to return their unwanted devices

AT&T 14 Day Return Policy Change

Following the rest of the industry, AT&T (T) has confirmed that it is slashing its 30-day device return policy to a 14-day one. First reported by Phonescoop, the change is officially in effect as of Sunday, October 7th. Purchases from AT&T made before October 7th will still be subject to the 30-days return policy. AT&T business customers will also not be affected by the new change. Engadget says that it’s unclear how the new policy will be implemented in California, as 30-day return policies are required by law. The other three major U.S. carriers including Sprint (S), T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless (VZ) already have 14-day return policies, making AT&T the last of the bunch.
