It looks like those Sprint Premier members who want to assure themselves a BlackBerry Style 9670 on launch day will be afforded that opportunity. Sprint has been sending out emails to its Premier customers with an option to pre-order the new BlackBerry flip-phone today; one day before the general public. Anyone out there going to scoop up RIM’s latest creation either today or tomorrow?

In a press release late yesterday, Best Buy announced that it would be accepting pre-orders for T-Mobile’s recently-announced G2, Android 2.2 handset beginning today. The device will retail for $199 on a 2-year contract and will be available in stores on October 6. Here is the full press release:

Today, Velocity Micro announced that their 7-inch Android 2.0 Cruz e-Reader is available for pre-order on Borders, Amazon, and at CruzReader.com. The device has an 800 x 600 screen resolution, Wi-Fi b/g, can playback video in a full 720p, built-in accelerometer, and a micro-SD card slot for expandable storage. If you plan on reserving yourself a Samsung EPIC 4G tomorrow, here’s your backup plan… The Shack. RadioShack has announced that they too will carry Sprint’s EPIC 4G smartphone and, like Sprint, will be taking pre-orders for the new device starting tomorrow. The one catch appears to be this: “Eligible RadioShack customers can reserve Samsung Epic 4G (while supplies last) by purchasing a $50 gift card that is applied to the purchase price when the device arrives in stores starting Aug. 31.” We’ve got the full press release for you after the break.
