AT&T (T) on Tuesday announced that a number of Windows Phone 8-powered smartphones will launch beginning November 9th. Nokia’s (NOK) highly anticipated Lumia 920 will be among them, and it will cost just $99.99 on contract. BGR reviewed the Lumia 920 earlier this week and called it an amazing smartphone with some serious barriers that could deter most potential buyers. AT&T notes that Lumia 920 purchases will include a free wireless charging plate. Also launching ahead of the holidays is the HTC (2498) Windows Phone 8X, which starts at $99.99 with 8GB of storage and tops out at $199.99 with 16GB, and the Nokia Lumia 820, which will cost $49.99 on contract. AT&T said preorders for the new Lumia phones will begin on November 7th and the carrier’s full press release follows below. More →
