One of the most sought-after features for iOS 8 was transit directions in the Maps app, a feature Apple removed when it switched from Google Maps to its own home-grown mapping solution. But last Monday, Apple did not announce transit directions during its annual World Wide Developers Conference. Some key iOS 8 features reportedly delayed and pushed back to iOS 8.1

Apple plans to unveil its next major iOS release during its upcoming WWDC conference in June, as it does each year. With the June 2nd keynote fast approaching, details have been trickling out over the past few weeks, giving us a good idea of what to expect when Apple unveils iOS 8.
