Apple makes iLife '11 official

Roughly every two-years, like clockwork, Apple updates its digital media management and creation suite, iLife… and today the trend continues. At the company’s “Back to the Mac” event, Apple CEO Steve Jobs, with help from several executives and product managers, detailed and demoed the latest iterations of, iMovie, iPhoto, and Garageband included in the new iLife ’11 software bundle. Apple's website outs iLife '11, new Macbook Air, mystery product

Ahead of its “Back to the Mac” media event scheduled for this afternoon, Apple’s own discussion forums have outed several of the company’s new products set to be introduced later today. Categories for iPhoto ’11, Garageband ’11, and iMovie ’11 all but confirm the existence of the company’s next iLife suite. A category with the heading “MBA” would — presumably — confirm the Macbook Air refresh that has been oft-rumored this week.
