Microsoft announced on Wednesday that it had partnered with Ubisoft in order to bring two new Xbox One bundles to market this holiday season. The Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle will contain free digital downloads of both the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Unity and last year’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag for $399. There will also be a $499 bundle which will include a Kinect. Both bundles will be available worldwide on November 2nd, but Unity won’t be playable until its release on November 14th. More →

Ubisoft on Monday took the wraps off the latest chapter of its popular Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Unity. The game will feature four-player co-op and will be set in Revolutionary-era France. As you’d expect, the game footage shown at E3 looks absolutely stunning, as Paris in the late 18th century gives the studio a perfect setting to craft gorgeous visuals. We got an early glimpse of the next Assassin’s Creed courtesy of Kotaku earlier this week, and now Ubisoft has responded with an official teaser trailer of its own. It looks like the new generation game will be called Assassin’s Creed Unity, as the leak suggested, and will be set in a ridiculously good looking digital recreation of France. Ubisoft has been working on Unity for over three years, and although the team hadn’t planned on revealing footage this early in development, the leaked images apparently forced their hand. It might still be in alpha, but if this is truly in-game footage, we’re in store for one stunning Assassin’s Creed game on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC later this year. Check out the trailer below. More →
