Apple is planning to unveil a new textbook initiative on Thursday that has been codenamed ‘Bliss’ that will likely bolster the use of iPads for educational purposes inside classrooms. AppleInsider has learned that the initiative was first inspired by Al Gore’s book “Our Choice,” which was published as an interactive iOS eBook and which also discusses the current global “climate crisis.” According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple’s vice president of development for iWork Roger Rosner has been the lead on the project. Al Gore has been spotted in the VIP area at the WWDC keynote address. Logical conclusion: the rumored solar power for the new iPhone must be confirmed. Ok, so we’re probably completely full of it, but we have heard that Mr. Gore won’t go within 30 feet of anything that doesn’t draw its juice from a renewable energy source. Any bets on whether Gore will be invited up on stage to participate?
