AT&T to release Samsung ATIV smart PC and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 on November 9th
Not interested in the iPad mini or Nexus 10? AT&T (T) and Samsung (005930) announced on Monday the Windows 8-powered ATIV smart PC and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available with 4G LTE on November 9th for $799.99 and $499.99, respectively. The Samsung ATIV Tab features an 11.6-inch HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor, 64GB of internal storage (expandable with 32GB microSD) and can run Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 apps. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 10.1 includes a 1GHz dual-core processor, 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 resolution) display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, three-megapixel camera and VGA front camera. The only new addition for the new Galaxy Tab compared to earlier versions is 4G LTE connectivity. More details on each tablet can be found in AT&T’s press release below.
