This huge Android fan hates even the prettiest Android Wear watch

You might like what the Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch looks like in pictures and fantasize about fitting one on your wrist soon, but it looks like the device may have some serious issues, if longtime Android fan and Android Police founder Artem Russakovskii is to be believed. More →

The premium stainless steel Moto 360 can be yours on November 11th

We don’t know the precise sales figures yet, but it’s clear that the Moto 360 was the first smartwatch launch to draw a significant crowd. Within just a few hours, the wearable device had already sold out on Motorola’s website, forcing anyone who wasn’t quick on the draw to wait for it to become available at third-party retailers. Others are surely waiting for Apple to reveal its wearable before making a decision, but if the iWatch doesn’t float your boat, it might be worth waiting for the stainless steel Moto 360. More →

Google is already prepping a few major updates for your new Moto 360

The very first Android Wear smartwatches launched earlier this summer, but now that the Moto 360 is finally shipping, it’s fair to say that Google’s new mobile operating system has officially arrived. Just a couple of months after the reveal of Android Wear, the hardware is already improving, but what about the software? It looks nice, but it’s still lacking some important features, which is why Google is going to be continuously updating Android Wear throughout the fall and winter. More →

Will the iWatch’s battery life be just as disappointing as the Moto 360’s?

If there’s an emerging consensus with the Moto 360 so far it’s that it’s a stylish device that has a key flaw: Poor battery life. While Apple fans are certainly hoping the iWatch will beat the Moto 360 in this category, The Information’s sources say that they shouldn’t get their hopes up. More →

The Moto 360 gets the highest compliment an Apple fan can give to a non-Apple product

What’s the highest compliment that an Apple fan can give to a product that isn’t made by Apple? Namely, that it’s the product that Apple will have to beat to be the best. The Loop’s Dave Mark has written a short primer to set expectations for next week’s grand iWatch unveiling and he thinks that the Moto 360, despite its shortcomings, is clearly the bar that Apple will need to cross. The biggest reason to hold off buying the Moto 360

The Moto 360 is a great looking device and is easily the prettiest smartwatch we’ve seen to date. However, one theme has come up in early reviews of the device that should give anyone preparing to shell out $250 for it pause: It apparently has subpar battery life. More →

Chicago’s historic Merchandise Mart was at one time the largest building in the world, occupying more than five acres of land and housing roughly four million square feet of floor space. Built in 1930 and owned for a period of time by the Kennedy family, the building has seen hundreds of businesses pass through its doors over the past 84 years.

But none of the building’s tenants have put the space to use quite like Motorola. More →

High quality images of the Moto 360 leak ahead of Motorola’s reveal

In an impressive display of incompetence, Motorola opted not to unveil its highly-anticipated Moto 360 smartwatch to the public during the first two days of IFA 2014. Instead, Motorola invited the press to attend a closed-door event to see the smartwatch (along with the Moto X+1 and Moto G2) ahead of time, but it looks like the plan may have backfired. More →

No app will ever look this sexy on the Moto 360

No app will ever look this sexy on the Moto 360

Motorola’s upcoming Moto 360 smartwatch is easily the most beautiful device this emerging category has ever seen. In a market cluttered by ugly square watches, Motorola chose a round design and premium materials in an effort to stand apart from the crowd. It worked — quite well, in fact. It actually worked so well that rival device makers Samsung and LG are already copying Motorola’s design.

As beautiful as the Moto 360 is, however, it has an annoying flaw that will ensure no apps on the Android Wear-powered smartwatch will ever look as beautiful as the Instagram for Android Wear concept you see in the image above. More →

You can still win a free Moto 360 with a Yo, as company apologizes for epic contest fail

Motorola has decided to use the viral, yet-not-really-necessary, Yo “messaging” app to promote the upcoming Moto 360 smartwatch, and offer 20 lucky fans the chance of winning the device during the promotion. All a smartphone user had to do to try and win the gorgeous Moto 360 was to simply send a “Yo” to Motorola, but the contest ended badly for many participants, and now the company wants to make up by giving away an extra batch of Moto 360 units.
