Samsung’s third Galaxy S6 version, the Galaxy S6 Active that many reports claimed it’s coming, has been photographed in the wild. The company is not yet ready to announce Galaxy S6 Active availability just yet, but the device appears to be in testing.

The image below, sent to GSM Arena by a tipster, show a handset that packs Galaxy S6 Active branding, and resembles previous Galaxy S Active models. The device has the same hardware buttons on the front side that can be found on existing Active versions. That means the fingerprint sensor present in the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge won’t be found on the Active model.

One other notable change concerns the speaker, which has been moved on the back of the device, rather than being found on the bottom side, as it’s the case with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

While not all details about this Galaxy S6 Active version are known at this time, the same source told the publication the phone’s model number is SM-G890A, and that the phone will pack a large 3,500 mAh battery that’s going to be significantly bigger than the 2,600 mAh unit found on the other Galaxy S6 models.

Finally, one distinctive feature for the Galaxy S6 Active will be its waterproof case. Neither the Galaxy S6 nor the Galaxy S6 edge are waterproof.

An image showing the unannounced handset follows below.
