Earlier this month, Tesla held an “investor event” at its Gigafactory where invite-only guests were given the opportunity to tour the plant, sit down for a Q&A with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and of course, get an up close and personal look at the company’s highly anticipated Model 3.

Originally spotted by Electreck, some folks who were lucky enough to attend have since posted never before seen photos of the Model 3 on their Instagram pages. While the photos don’t necessarily reveal anything new, they’re still interesting insofar as we haven’t seen too many Model 3 sightings out in the wild over the past few months.

Without question, the Model 3 launch — still slated for late 2017 — will be one of the more closely followed and talked about tech stories of the year. All the more intriguing is that there’s still quite a bit we don’t know about Tesla’s highly anticipated mass market EV. For starters, Tesla’s plan for the Model 3 dashboard remains murky at best. As we’ve highlighted previously, the Model 3 instrument cluster is non-existent, a design choice which has led many to believe that the company will implement a HUD before the car ultimately begins shipping.

That aside, below are a few new photos of the Tesla Model 3 that have been making the rounds lately.

As to projected Model 3 launch, a November research note from Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas claims that the first batch of Model 3 deliveries may not begin in earnest until the very end of 2018. For what it’s worth, Tesla remains adamant that it will be able to deliver at least 100,000 units to customers before the end of 2017.
