On Monday, the new daily bonus feature rolled out to Pokemon Go players around the world. With daily bonuses, players will be able to rack up additional experience points for their first catch of the day and first Photo Disc spin of the day at a PokeStop. In celebration of the update, Niantic is hosting a limited-time event in the app that should make waiting in line at your polling place a little easier.

“To celebrate [daily bonuses], from November 7th to November 11th, you’ll find more Pokémon out in the world,” the developer explains on its website. “Moreover, PokéStops will grant more items! Yes — this means more Great Balls, and for Trainers that are level 20 and above — more Ultra Balls!”

If you load up the app right now, chances are that you’ll see the nearby Pokemon window packed full of creatures in your area. Every time that I’ve checked the app since last night, there have been either 8 or 9 (the max amount).

While this event is quite as elaborate as the Halloween event, it’s encouraging to see Niantic kick off a new event so soon after the last one ended. This is a good sign for those hoping to see another holiday event before the end of 2016.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to stock up on items or fill up your Pokedex, this is the week to go out and start playing. Remember, the event will only run until Friday, November 11th, so act fast if you want to participate.
