Apple’s newest MacBook Pros have got people all kinds of upset about the lack of ports, lack of graphics, or lack of a new MacBook Air.

Those are all good points, but here’s a little something to help dry your tears of Mac sadness: a $500 discount on the 12-inch MacBooks, which can snag you one of Apple’s thinnest PCs for just $800.

DON’T MISS: The iPhone 8 could have Apple’s most courageous feature yet

B&H is having a serious sale on the 12-inch Retina MacBook. The version with a 1.1GHz Core M processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage starts at $800. Considering that the old 13-inch MacBook Air has a worse screen, 128GB of storage and starts at $1000, that’s a whole lot of savings. The $800 version is only available in space grey and silver, however, so no metallic pink for you.

For $1,100 you can also go up to the 512GB storage version, which is available in all three colors. AppleCare is also an optional add-on for a $20 discount, which is nothing to sniff at if you’re planning on having this laptop for a few years.

The sale is being offered by B&H rather than Apple, so this isn’t some kind of blow-out sale before it starts refreshing stock. But it is a good indicator that Apple is going to make some changes to the 12-inch MacBook in the upcoming months. Given the overhaul they just gave to the MacBook Pro, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the changes like bigger trackpads and a better keyboard come over, if not the fancy Touch Bar.
