Apple’s next-generation iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are still months away from being announced, and Apple could really use a hit in light of all the negativity following the company’s March-quarter earnings. iPhone sales have fallen off a cliff so far this year, since there was simply no way the iPhone 6s was going to keep up with the sales pace set by the prior year’s model. With the iPhone 7, Apple will look to boost sales with new features and a new design.

And now, it appears as though that new design is no longer a mystery.

MUST SEE: The hottest iPhone you’ve ever seen will never exist

Leaks surrounding Apple’s upcoming new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have certainly accelerated over the past few days, as Apple’s manufacturing partners are likely now gearing up for production. On Wednesday we saw digital drawings leak that were said to be the genuine article, and they showed us a two-dimensional representation of what this year’s new iPhones will look like.

Following that leak, which came from a source that has proven reliable in the past, a 3D CAD drawing of the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus has been created based on the details provided in the renders. The drawing can be seen in a video created by uSwitch in collaboration with @OnLeaks (via i4u), and in all likelihood it shows us what we can expect from this year’s iPhones.

Here’s the full video:

Those looking for a big departure from Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6s are going to be disappointed, though rumor has it we can expect a completely redesigned iPhone next year with an edgeless display and no home button. This year, however, the iPhone 7 appears to look eerily similar to the iPhone 6.

The camera is clearly different on both models compared to Apple’s current iPhones, and the larger iPhone 7 Plus appears to have the dual camera design we’ve heard so much about. There’s also no standard headphone jack to be found.

Next year marks the 10th anniversary of Apple’s first iPhone model and it looks like the company is saving most of the big changes for its next handset. There are still almost certainly a few surprises in store from Apple this year though, so if you think you know all there is to know about the iPhone 7, think again.
