One of the phones Android fans are dying to see in stores this year is the OnePlus 3, the next-gen reasonably priced flagship handset. The phone is expected to pack high-end hardware putting it on par with current flagships from the competition. If rumors are correct, then one OnePlus 3 version might be better than this year’s Galaxy S7 and HTC One 10, at least when it comes to specs. But a new report reveals one more interesting detail about the handset, its price. Apparently, this year’s OnePlus flagship might be even cheaper than its predecessor.

According to GizmoChina, the OnePlus 3 will have an introductory price of 1,999 Yuan in China, or around $310. This is apparently the price for the base variant of the phone, and has leaked from a OnePlus employee. This OnePlus 3 version would offer buyers a Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

Comparatively, last year’s OnePlus 2 cost $329 at launch.

The high-end OnePlus 3 option is expected to pack more RAM and storage – that’s 6GB of RAM and 64GB of memory. Pricing details for the better OnePlus 3 option have not been mentioned, but this option should be slightly more expensive than the base model.

Rumors say that OnePlus will announce the handset on May 18th and launch it in early June, though the company has not made anything official yet.
