Apple is just weeks away from unveiling a brand new iPhone, but it won’t be the iPhone 7 you’re looking forward to seeing in stores. However, while Apple’s upcoming event will be geared towards the brand new 4-inch iPhone SE that will replace the aging iPhone 5s, there are plenty of iPhone 7 rumors and leaks floating around. The latest one shows us a purported iPhone 7 case that may reveal some key design elements of Apple’s next flagship iPhone.

Dug up by NowhereElse, the image shows us a case that appears to be similar to current iPhone designs. The general shape and features seem to be similar to the iPhone 6, complete with round corners and a thin profile. The buttons are placed in the same locations on the case’s sides, and the rear camera and flash combo is also exactly where you expect them to be. There’s also no indication that the opening could house a dual-camera setup.

What’s different, however, is the port openings found on the bottom side of the device. Rather than a headphone jack, Lightning port, and speaker slots, we have openings that suggest the headphone jack is gone, with the Lighting port seemingly flanked by speakers.

NowhereElse notes that the leaked images come from a source whose previous leaks were accurate. That said, with six months to go until the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are official, we’ll remind you it’s way too early to confirm these leaks.
