Earlier this month, word began to spread that Netflix engineers had added secret category codes to the streaming service in order to create even more distinct categories than users would typically see on the front page.
Blogs and news organizations picked up the story within hours, but it all came to a head when Stephen Colbert dedicated an entire segment to the discovery. Now, a week later, Netflix has decided to return the favor.
According to a PR representative, Netflix took Colbert’s (ridiculous) suggestions to heart and added seven new categories to its ever-expanding list of secret codes.
