More and more reports indicate that Apple will refresh its iPhone line this spring by replacing the 2013 iPhone 5s with a new 4-inch model that will offer the same size to customers looking for compact smartphones while packing newer features. But not all rumors agree on the name Apple will give to this new product. The “iPhone 6c” moniker is the crowds’ favorite so far though “iPhone 7c” also appeared as a potential – probably unlikely – name choice.

However, a new report from China says that Apple will go with the name “iPhone 5e” for the new handset, with “e” standing for “enhanced.”

According to a report from MyDrivers, the iPhone 5e is currently under production at Foxconn and will be released at some point in March. The phone is expected to be priced at around $500, becoming the new mid-range option instead of the iPhone 5s.

The report goes on to say the phone will feature an A8 processor with 1GB of RAM and 16/64GB of storage. The iPhone 5e would also support Apple Pay and offer voice over LTE. The report contradicts other rumors that said the phone will have even better specs, including an A9 chip, as found in the iPhone 6s series.

In terms of design, the iPhone 5e is expected to look like the iPhone 5s, though some reports say the phone might have a curved “2.5D” display as seen in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.
