  • Quick access to flight information: If someone sends you a text message with their flight number, you’ll be able to tap and hold your phone’s home button and Now on Tap will give you flight status information. What makes this cool is that it gives you flight information in a small little pop-up so you don’t have to conduct a separate search or go away from your text message.
  • Quick access to package tracking information: Similarly, if you get a confirmation email for a package you ordered, you can tap and hold your phone’s home button to get tracking info that will give you an idea of where your package is now and when it will arrive.
  • Find related news stories more easily: When you’re reading a news story, you can tap and hold the home button and a pop-up window will appear with Google News search results for the main subject of the article you’re reading.
  • Support for six new languages added: If you speak French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian or Korean, congratulations — Google Now on Tap will listen and respond to you in your native tongue. And of course, Google says that it will keep adding new languages in the future.
