Winter is coming… and that sadly means we still have to wait a few more months until the new season of Game of Thrones premieres. HBO is trying to satiate our appetites until then by releasing an agonizingly short teaser video that doesn’t feature any new footage but does seem to focus a lot on Jon Snow.

FROM EARLIER: Top Apple insider confirms a new 4-inch iPhone is coming in early 2016

In fact, the first 20 seconds or so of the teaser are a long, slow zoom-out of Snow. It then cuts to a bunch of footage from past films, including clips from the Red Wedding and the king of the White Walkers. All the while, we hear a rather grim narration.

“We watch… we listen… and we remember,” narrates actor Max von Sydow, who will be portraying the Three-Eyed Raven. “The past is already written. The ink is dry.”

Then we hear a character who is likely Bran respond by telling him, “They have no idea what’s going to happen.”

So it looks like things aren’t going to be sunshine and rainbows in Westeros, which is pretty much what we’ve come to expect. And yes, for the record, the heavy focus on Jon Snow indicates that he’s very likely back, as I’ve been predicting from the start.

Check out the full teaser below.
