The holiday shopping season is almost upon us and some retailers are even ready to kick off month-long sales promotions come next week. In addition to price-matching policies that major retail chains will employ throughout the season, shoppers are also going to be interested in how to get free shipping with their pruchases.

Not all retailers are ready to offer free shipping on all orders, Fortune reports, with Walmart having decided to stick to its current minimum online order requirement for qualifying for free purchases.

You have to purchase goods online at Walmart worth at least $50 to qualify for free shipping. Comparatively, Amazon offers free shipping to Prime members and free shipping on orders above $35 to non-Prime members. Best Buy, meanwhile, dropped its $35 minimum through early January, while Target currently requires a minimum online order of $25 to qualify for free shipping.

Walmart CEO Fernando Madeira told reporters on Thursday that a “vast majority” of online orders already qualify for free shipping, and they can also be picked up in nearby stores at no extra cost.

“When you look at the combination of e-commerce delivery to homes with a threshold of $50 and the in-store pick-up, customers are loving the way that we are doing this,” the exec said.

Walmart will continue its aggressive price-matching policy, and will kick off special rollbacks throughout the entire shopping season (November and December) not just Black Friday.

“We will not be beaten on price,” Walmart’s fresh merchandise chief Steve Bratspies said. “If we need to react, we will react.”
