Over the past several months, hobbyists with drones have been checking in on the development of the spaceship-like Apple Campus 2, which is currently under construction in Cupertino, California. The last few videos we’ve featured on BGR have been interesting, but in the latest recording from YouTube user Duncan Sinfield, we can finally see some real progress.

Here’s the description Sinfield included on YouTube:

“Filmed using the DJI Inspire 1, this video gives a unique perspective, as it flashes back to video taken one month ago on August 1, 2015 to provide a month-to-month update.”

It takes quite an adept drone operator to capture such strikingly similar footage in back-to-back trips, but that’s what Duncan and his team managed to do in their latest video. Sadly, it doesn’t look like the Apple Campus 2 is going to be operational any time soon, but it’s quite a trip to watch such an ambitious project take shape.
