One of the best calling features on the iPhone, assuming it’s enabled by your carrier of choice, is Wi-Fi calling. When turned on, Wi-Fi calling offers an improved voice call experience on the iPhone, and it saves you voice minutes from your cellular subscription if you’re not on an unlimited voice plan already. However, even if the feature is enabled by your carrier, Wi-Fi calling won’t necessarily be activated by default on your iPhone, which means you’ll have to do it yourself – here’s how.

Phone Arena recently put together a nice simple guide that walks you through the process.

All you have to do is simply head to Settings on the iPhone and look for the Phone option. Tap that and then look for the Wi-Fi Calls option. One more tap brings you to the Wi-Fi Calls menu, where you’ll have to turn on the Allow Wi-Fi Calls toggle with one more tap.

A prompt will then pop up asking you whether you want to turn on the option, and you’ll have to press the Turn On button. Once that final step is done, you’ll be able to enjoy Wi-Fi calling on your iPhone.
