Samsung must be pretty annoyed that the Apple Watch just went up for preorder last night because otherwise it might be getting a lot more attention for its Galaxy S6 release. SamMobile has received some pictures of customers lining up outside the T-Mobile store in Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and while they aren’t exactly iPhone 6-level big, they’re nonetheless substantial.

Cynics out there may try to claim these people are just being paid off by Samsung to stand in line. In reality, however, the Galaxy S6 is a Samsung phone that really does live up to the hype and is easily the best phone Samsung has ever made. So while waiting in long lines to buy a smartphone that you could just order online is a very silly thing to do, we aren’t too surprised people are doing it for the Galaxy S6.

Ironically, Apple this week has been discouraging people from waiting in line to get the Apple Watch and it isn’t even selling the device in stores — instead, you have to order them online. You can go into an Apple Store to try out the Apple Watch, of course, but even then Apple recommends that you make an appointment first.
