Today has been something of a nightmare for those of us attempting to sort through the April Fools’ Day jokes to find something resembling news, but it might have all been worth it for the video we’re about to show you.

If you were on the Internet in the early 2000s, you probably remember a website filled with goofy flash cartoons called Homestar Runner. After a four year hiatus, Homestar Runner returned last year, on April 1st, with a brand new cartoon. Since then, there have been a few more hints of a full revival, but none more exciting than the 206th Strong Bad Email, published on the site today.

In the latest Strong Bad Email (and the first since 2009), Strong Bad discusses his hatred of April Fools’ Day, from the fake movie trailers to the ads for nerdy products that don’t really exist.

We can only hope that we’ll see plenty more of Homestar, Strong Bad and Marzipan throughout the year.
