HTC’s One M9 is set to go head-to-head against Samsung’s Galaxy S6, but that’s not the only phone HTC is planning on challenging this spring. Nowhereelse.fr has spotted some leaked specifications that are supposedly for the HTC One M9 Plus, which will be HTC’s 2015 flagship phablet that will be its answer to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the iPhone 6 Plus.

FROM EARLIER: One way Galaxy S6 prepares you for a future without Android

According to the leak, the One M9 Plus will feature a 5.2-inch with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, an MT6795T MediaTek 64-bit octa-core processor, a PowerVR Rogue G6200 GPU, a 21.1-megapixel rear-facing camera, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Leaked pictures of the device show that it will unsurprisingly look a lot like the One M9, so it really does look like a device that’s being targeted for people who want a slightly larger version of HTC’s flagship phone.

We have no idea when this phone will be released yet but Engadget notes that the phone appears headed to China Mobile, which may mean it’s only going to go on sale in overseas markets. It also writes that HTC is having a media event in China in early April, which means we probably won’t have to wait much longer to learn more about the device.
