Samsung impressed the crowds at MWC last week with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge announcement, with the latter model receiving particularly high levels of acclaim. Sure, the devices resemble the iPhone 6 more than some fans would have wanted, but they’re definitely impressive. And while Samsung might have failed to properly explain why you should absolutely go for the version with the curved display that will be a lot more expensive than the regular model, you should expect developers to fix that oversight by releasing some amazing Galaxy S6 edge apps in the future.

FROM EARLIER: The iPhone 6 might be low-res, but Apple’s highest-resolution device ever is coming soon

One concept video has already hit the web and it proposes a very cool Galaxy S6 edge app idea that will hopefully soon become reality. YouTube user Daniel Oudam Uy has posted a ringtone light concept for the Galaxy S6 edge that syncs light with music playback, resulting in a cool visual effect when a call is placed.

Obviously the idea can be taken one step further by developers, who could probably include this audio visualizer feature in future music-related apps.

The short video showing this Galaxy S6 edge concept follows below.
