Samsung just announced its two major flagship phones for 2015 — the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. Both devices pack insane specifications and they mark a real change for Samsung, which has finally ditched its traditional plastic builds in favor of metal. The Galaxy S6 edge in particular looks like a big step forward for Samsung from a design perspective — whereas the original Galaxy Note Edge’s side display looked awkward and asymmetrical, the S6 edge looks very stylish and its two side displays look like a natural part of its design instead of just a cheap gimmick slapped on at the last minute.

Just after its keynote address at Mobile World Congress ended, Samsung posted a new video on its YouTube account showing off both devices for the first time. The video pays particular attention to the Galaxy S6 edge and its gorgeous curved glass display that really sets it apart from other smartphones on the market right now. In the video, Samsung describes its new device as “meticulously crafted
from curved glass and carved metal” and there’s no doubt it’s the most eye-catching Samsung device we’ve seen in ages.
