Smartphone and tablet chargers are far from being exciting accessories, yet we have to constantly carry them with us on the off-chance that our beloved mobile device runs out of battery life when we least expect it. FlexCharger, however, is a different kind of charger for mobile devices — in fact, it’s the only charger in recent memory that we might even call exciting.

DON’T MISS: The iPhone 6 might be low-res, but Apple’s highest-resolution device ever is coming soon

The gadget, currently raising money over at Indiegogo includes the ability to simultaneously charge up to 5 devices, while also offering wireless charging support and even acting as a Wi-Fi repeater to improve the Wi-Fi experience in your home. Another useful feature is its retractable cord, which means you don’t have to worry about tangled cables. And even better, they offer additional movement space by measuring well over 6 feet each.

The device comes in three versions, including FlexCharger S, FlexCharger W (adds wireless charging), and FlexCharger W/R (adds wireless charging and Wi-Fi repeater), priced at $99, $119 and $149, respectively, on Indiegogo.

The project has already raised more than $70,000, seven times its original goal, and has 28 days left in the campaign left. The FlexCharger should ship to backers at some point this October.

More details about the device are available in the following video.
