The Tonight Show

is moving back to Los Angeles for a week and host Jimmy Fallon took advantage of the move to record a parody version of the opening sequence of Will Smith’s The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The early 90s show aired for six years on NBC, with the opening song becoming very popular with fans of the sitcom.

Fallon’s take of the opening sequence is fairly faithful to the original, though the lyrics have been adapted for this specific scenario — The Tonight Show temporarily moving to Los Angeles.

Without spoiling the video, available in its entirety below, we can tell you that you can expect some special cameos from the stars part of the original show, including Alfonso Ribeiro and Jeffrey A. Townes, who played Carlton Banks and DJ Jazzy Jeff, respectively.
