Motorola has a special promotion for buyers looking to score new gear this Christmas and is offering them $50 off any $350 purchase, or $100 off any $500 purchase. The sale is good through December 23rd at 11:00 a.m. CT, and it can help you purchase an even cheaper Motorola handset.

FROM EARLIER: The iPhone 6 might be low-res, but Apple’s highest-resolution device ever is coming soon

Motorola’s best Android smartphones of the year include the Moto X, the Droid Turbo and the Nexus 6, which are priced at $399.99, $599.99 and $649.99, respectively.

Choosing either one the unlocked Nexus 6 or the Droid Turbo will get users $100 in savings, but the Moto X has to be bundled with an extra Motorola item, so the checkout price tops the $500 tier for $100 savings.

In addition to these top three handsets, users can use other interesting Motorola smartphones, such as the 2014 Moto G model and the Moto E as well as the Moto 360 smartwatch and a variety of accessories to score a Christmas deal. As long as their combined value tops either $350 or $500, buyers will receive that $50 or $100 discount.

Customers should also know that the special Motorola Christmas promotion excludes the Moto E, Nexus 6 and Moto X on Republic Wireless. More details about the offer are available at the source link below.

UPDATE: Motorola has contacted BGR, telling us that no Nexus 6 version is included in the promotion after all, and that the Verizon-exclusive Droid Turbo isn’t sold on Motorola.com, and therefore buyers can’t use it to get the $100 off either.
