Historically, December hasn’t been a very exciting month for video game releases or gaming news, but Sony decided to change that over the weekend with the first annual PlayStation Experience. Held in Las Vegas, Sony’s fan event not only let gamers and press go hands on with new demos on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita, but gave developers the opportunity to announce games and show off trailers as well.

FROM EARLIER: Uncharted 4 makes a stunning debut in first gameplay trailer

There was far too much news for a single post, so we’ve decided to round up a few of the best trailers from the busy weekend instead.

Street Fighter V

One of the biggest (spoiled) surprises of the show: Street Fighter V will be a PS4 console exclusive. This is a huge get for Sony and might help convert the fighting game crowd over to PlayStation.

No Man’s Sky

We just can’t get enough of this game. No Man’s Sky isn’t a PlayStation exclusive, but Sony has played a huge part in hyping up one of the most fascinating games of the new generation.

Until Dawn

It’s still hard to imagine any developer pulling off such a strange concept, but Until Dawn has plenty of gamers intrigued. Don’t miss our preview from October.

Darkest Dungeon

There aren’t many 2D dungeon crawling RPGs coming out on PS4 next year, but Darkest Dungeon is certainly the one I’m most looking forward to.

Severed

I don’t know exactly what Severed is, but DrinkBox Studios has my attention after releasing the brilliant Guacamelee! last year. Anything that takes advantage of the PS Vita hardware is a winner in my book.
