Although many online forums are dominated by hardcore iOS or Android fanboys, there are some levelheaded people out there who can see the plusses and minuses of each platform. Business Insider’s Jillian D’Onfro recent picked up a new iPhone and, while she thinks it’s a fantastic device overall,  she still misses some things about her old Android device.

The biggest things that D’Onfro seems to miss are really related to how well Android integrates with Google’s own hugely popular set of mobile apps such as Gmail. She also finds that she misses the Google Keep note-taking app, which isn’t available on iOS.

Another big thing D’Onfro misses about Android is having notifications pop up on the status bar at the top of her phone that would always let her know important messages or tasks she needed to address. This is definitely a major adjustment for someone switching from Android to iOS, although the interactive iOS 8 notifications center is certainly a terrific addition for people who want to keep track of notifications on their iPhones.

The last big thing she misses is the ability to upgrade her device with a MicroSD card like she could do on her old Android device.

D’Onfro’s full list of things she misses from Android is worth reading and can be found at the source link below.
