iOS 8.1 is coming out later on Monday and for some iPhone 6 Plus owners’ sake, we hope it will fix one very annoying bug in particular. As you can see in the YouTube video posted below, some iPhone 6 Plus models are very slow to react when turned upside down at times and will often leave their home screen icons upside down even when you turn the phone right side up.

This particular bug is extremely irritating although thankfully it doesn’t occur all that often and can be fixed with a simple restart of your device. That said, it seems widespread enough and occurs frequently enough that Apple is likely aware of its existence and will probably patch it with Monday’s release.

iOS 8.1 is a hugely anticipated software release because, outside of the usual bug fixes, it will also bring support for Apple Pay to iPhones and iPads for the first time. Additionally, iOS 8.1 will bring support for Continuity, the new feature that will let you share information easily between your iOS devices and your Mac. Among many other things, this feature will allow you to send and receive text messages on your Mac or iPad that have been relayed via a paired iPhone.
