Apple has just released its second beta of iOS 8.1 to developers. It is an over-the-air release that will be compatible with 32 different device types and Apple says that it generally contains assorted “bug fixes and improvements.” 9to5Mac notices that it’s 62.5Mb and it also features new Apple TV and Xcode 6.1 betas. The latest release comes just over a week after Apple released its first iOS 8.1 beta to developers, which we noted at the time was one of the fastest iOS x.1 releases ever. iOS 8.1 will be a particularly important release for Apple because it will also add Apple Pay capabilities to iOS devices for the first time.
