Apple announced during its big press conference on Tuesday that it will finally release the finished version of its long-awaited iOS 8 software to the public on September 17th. This is huge news for iOS device users and developers alike, and it will bring the latest and greatest software features to Apple devices just ahead of the company’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launch. As has been the case with earlier pre-release versions of Apple’s iOS 8 software, however, you can install the just-released Gold Master (GM) version of iOS 8 right now without a developer account.

FROM EARLIER: iOS 8′s four most surprisingly useful features

Patience is a virtue that not everyone possesses. While iOS 8 GM is intended only for use by developers on test devices, it is the finalized version of the iOS 8 code so if ever there was a pre-release version of iOS 8 that is safe for public consumption, it’s this one. And with that said, BestTechInfo is back with a video detailing how you can install iOS 8 GM without a developer account.

But first, the standard disclaimer: BGR strongly advises against installing iOS 8 GM on any device that is not registered in Apple’s iOS developer center. Things can go very wrong and you can cause serious problems for your iOS device.

With that out of the way, adventurous iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users can watch the video below for more info.
