More details emerge on Samsung’s hottest tablet yet

Samsung on Thursday will finally unveil its hottest tablet yet, the Galaxy Tab S, which will feature an amazing high-resolution AMOLED display, a first for such devices. Pictures showing the device as well as rumored specs have been featured in various reports, but SamMobile has obtained even more details about the upcoming tablet family, including pictures showing its flip cover accessories.

The Galaxy Tab S tablets will be available in two sizes according to recent reports and will offer some interesting features including Super AMOLED displays with 2560 x 1600 resolution, fingerprint scanners and the ability to make phone calls when connected to a phone.

When it comes to specs, the Galaxy Tab S will pack an octa-core Exynos 5 processor with big.LITTLE technology, six-core ARM Mali-T628 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Samsung’s Magazine UX on top.

Various software features found on other Samsung devices, including the Ultra Power Saving Mode tech, Remote PC, Download Booster and others will be available on the Galaxy Tab S tablets.

Pricing details and availability dates for the Galaxy Tab S tablets have not been leaked yet.
