Amazon’s push to get packages to your doorstep as quickly as possible continues as Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles have been added to the list of cities offering same day delivery. The Wall Street Journal reports that along with the service’s expansion into three new metropolitan areas, several of the cities which had already featured same day delivery have been given even later cut-off times before their orders will be pushed to the next day.

If you live in one of Amazon’s eligible cities, you can find same day delivery items even easier through new search filters and through the “Local Express Delivery” section implemented into the retailer’s website. Delivery fees have also been lowered for Amazon Prime members, adding even more value to the $99 subscription service. Consumers in San Francisco, Phoenix, Seattle, Dallas and Los Angeles will now pay a flat fee of $5.99 for same day delivery for up to $150 pounds of goods.

It’s not all good news though — Amazon is shutting down the same day delivery service in Las Vegas, one of the first cities Amazon added to its list. The company had nothing to say in regards to why the service was being removed.

Expect the rollout to continue as Amazon’s services expand even further with initiatives like Prime Pantry and Amazon Fresh.
