How to silently and automatically save every Snapchat message

How to Save Snapchat Photos Android

Even though Snapchat’s main feature is to offer users an ephemeral photo sharing service, thus allowing them to share pictures and videos of personal stuff that can’t be saved on the sender’s device and are only available for a limited time, the system can be gamed. Those interested in saving Snapchats are already able to save images, although the procedures aren’t necessarily straightforward, and some of those methods that actually work may end up alerting the sender that an image has been saved. But for Android users, now there’s an app that automatically saves every Snapchat you receive, and the app runs in the background doing all the hard work while you actually use the Snapchat app as you would normally do, or at least that’s what PhoneArena says.

While this method provides a hassle-free way of saving Snapchat by using a dedicated extra app, actually using that app is a bit tricky, as it requires users to root their devices. After root, users will have to install Xposed Framework on their devices, activate it, and then install an additional app from the Google Play Store that’s supposed to work with the framework – the app is called KeepChat. Finally, there’s one more step that involves adding KeepChat to Xposed’s Modules. After that, KeepChat should save a copy of all the files you get to look at.

Similar apps exist for iOS devices. That said, BGR doesn’t encourage anyone to use apps and/or devices that break anyone else’s privacy – in fact here’s what you need to know to remove your files from Snapchat for good – nor does it advise users to jailbreak/root their devices, procedures that will void warranties.
