AT&T customers can now custom-design their own smartphones using the Moto Maker studio, Motorola announced on Tuesday. Moto Maker, a first-of-its-kind “design studio” for smartphones, lets you pick the color, accents, wallpapers and even custom signatures on your Moto X device. After you make your selections, Motorola assembles the devices in its plant in Texas and then ships them to your doorstep within four days of your order. Motorola also says that customers can now buy a contract-free Moto X for $579 directly through Motorola’s website.
