We’ve known for a while now that Nokia was working on making its own phablet but now it seems that the company is taking a page from Samsung’s playbook and is releasing a plethora of devices all at once. Unnamed sources tell Reuters that Nokia “has developed more than one new mobile device and is due to announce them at an event in New York in late September,” including a large-screen phablet that will go head-to-head with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note III. Reuters’ sources didn’t specify what other devices Nokia would launch next month, although the company is widely expected to launch its first-ever tablet based on Windows RT sometime this fall.
