Here comes the Galaxy Note III: Samsung schedules September 4th press conference

Samsung on Monday sent invitations to the press and bloggers for a press conference on September 4th in Berlin, Germany. The “Unpacked” event, which is scheduled to take place just ahead of the annual IFA trade show, will likely yield a number of new devices. The star among them, however, is expected to be Samsung’s Galaxy Note III phablet. The new supersized smartphone is expected to feature a 5.7-inch display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor or an eight-core Exynos 5 Octo chipset depending on region, 3GB of RAM, a massive battery and Android Jelly Bean. Samsung may also unveil its Galaxy Gear smartwatch at the event, along with several new tablet models.
