Samsung has learned a lot from working with Apple over the years and now the company is now planning to host its own WWDC-style developers conference in San Francisco this fall. The Samsung Developers Conference will take place from October 27th through October 29th this year and will be focussed on giving developers the tools they need to create unique apps for Samsung devices whether they’re based on Android or on Samsung’s own upcoming Tizen operating system. An unnamed source tells AllThingsD that the conference “is more about creating ways for developers to create software across Samsung’s many product areas than about signaling a new direction for its mobile efforts.”
