BlackBerry Executives Quit

Following news that BlackBerry recently fired its U.S. sales chief and is planning additional layoffs in the near future, a new report reveals that two more high-level executives have left the struggling smartphone vendor in recent weeks. According to The Wall Street Journal, T.A. McCann, who was in charge of all social networking efforts at BlackBerry, quit the company two weeks ago. Additionally, Tungle.me founder Marc Gingras has reportedly left BlackBerry in recent weeks as well. Gingras’s company was acquired by BlackBerry in 2011 and he was tasked with revamping BlackBerry 10′s contacts and calendar apps.
