Hands-on with Samsung’s Android-powered Galaxy NX camera

Samsung Galaxy NX Preview

If you ever wondered what an Android-powered DSLR camera would be like, you’re in luck. Samsung on Thursday took the wraps off of its Galaxy NX, an Android-based camera with interchangeable lenses. The 20.3-megapixel camera feels similar to other high-end cameras. What makes it stand out, however, is Android. Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface runs without a hitch over Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean thanks to the NX’s 1.6GHz quad-core processor. The camera also includes a 4.8-inch HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD slot and 4G LTE connectivity. The NX also sports a 4,360 mAh battery to ensure that it can carry you through a day of shooting. Samsung did not reveal pricing or a release date for the Galaxy NX but while we wait for more info, out hands-on photo gallery follows below.
