Black Eyed Peas frontman and entrepreneur Will.i.am is looking to turn mobile photography on its head. The musician is set to debut a new accessory and app for Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone on November 28th that will reportedly transform the handset’s 8-megapixel camera into a 14-megapixel shooter. The accessory, known as i.am+, is compatible with the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5, and claims to dramatically enhance the clarity and definition of photographs.

“We have our own sensor and a better flash,” the singer said in an interview with The Telegraph. “You dock you phone into our device and it turns you smartphone into a genius-phone. We take over the camera.” In addition, he plans to launch a special i.am domain where members will have the ability to share their photos with others. The Grammy award winner also revealed that the i.am+ accessory is the first of a series of digital products from the singer.

The i.am+ will be available in early December and pricing information will be announced on November 28th.
